What to expect

The prominent landmarks of this experience include, among others: Santo António Church, Old Cathedral, the Alfama, Graça, Mouraria, São Vicente, Chiado, Principe Real, and Estrela neighborhoods, in addition to the main viewpoints and lush gardens.

The order of the itinerary plan can be altered to optimize the client’s experience and pickup or drop-off.

Experience Details

The 7 Hills package covers Medieval Hills and Romantic Hills. In total, about 12 km of the most challenging areas to complete in any other way in the same period.

In the Medieval Hills, we will discover the origins of Lisbon. How it was founded, conquered from the Moors, and a timeline of almost 3,000 years of different civilizations. We will also explore the narrow medieval streets and marvel at the views from the city’s main viewpoints. It is probably the area of the town with the steepest hills.

As far as the Romantic Hills are concerned, as difficult to traverse as the Medieval ones, you will be in contact with a city renewed after the Lisbon earthquake of 1755 – the biggest ever in Europe. This area has beautiful palaces, gardens, and the chicest neighborhoods. Together, Medieval Hills and Romantic Hills form the 7 Hills. The tourist bus and tram don’t even cover 50% of what you can do with us.

In 2h/2h30, you can discover Lisbon, with detailed explanations of the historical facts and the places visited, which, by yourself, would take 2 to 3 days.

Experience:

– You will travel through places that neither Tram 28 nor the tourist bus can go;
– Comprehensive overview of Lisbon with in-depth commentary from a multilingual guide;
– You will have a deeper understanding of Lisbon than exploring independently;
– 12 to 14 km (7 to 9 mi) of ascents and descents, in the most difficult terrain in Lisbon;
– Saves 1 day.

– Foot version: Maximum 10 people;
– TukTuk version: Maximum six people per TukTuk (maximum 5 adults);
– Children must be accompanied by an adult;
– TukTuk version: Maximum six people (maximum 5 adults);
– This experience requires a minimum number of people. If canceled due to not reaching the minimum number, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Recommendations

– Advisable comfortable clothing and warm coats, especially in the colder seasons (autumn and winter). Waterproof in winter;

– For all experiences billed per hour, the overtime period will be billed in blocks of 60 minutes, considering the hourly price of each hour block;
– Exceeded time for full-day tours will be charged €100/hour.
