Hallmarks of this experience include a Full-Day trip by van to visit monuments such as Évora Cathedral, Bone Chapel, Aqueduct, Roman Temple, Monsaraz Castle, and one of the best southern gastronomy restaurants.

Experience Details

This experience is the extended version of the visit to Évora, with the addition of a trip to Monsaraz, elected one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.

Évora – UNESCO World Heritage city. This city is rich in history and retains much of its original design. It is a museum city with medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, charming squares, cobbled streets, and mouth-watering cuisine, all contained within its ancient walls. Of course, we can also book your lunch at a typical Alentejo restaurant if you choose.

The afternoon will be in Monsaraz. With a view over the Alqueva lake (the largest artificial lake in Europe), its heritage highlights the Igreja Matriz fortifications built in the 16th century. XVI to replace the primitive church destroyed because of the plague, the Castle of Monsaraz, the House of the Inquisition (one of the only ones in the country), and the Pelourinho. Its surroundings let our imagination go back for many centuries, in the more than 150 megalithic monuments with stories of more than 5000 years.

– For all experiences billed per hour, the overtime period will be billed in blocks of 60 minutes, considering the hourly price of each hour block;
– Exceeded time for full-day tours will be charged €100/hour.
